December 27, 2007
After the explosive evacuation on day 3 of the last pulse where I tried to jump in with 3 Metro. per day I went back to where I should have started ie. one per day for five days. This started on 28 Nov 2007 and was easy-ish to tolerate. During the pulse I felt so much better, my walking and balance were very good and I had more energy. Again I felt that the neck, shoulders and coccyx areas were being addressed and although I had some nausea that old faithful, ginger in all forms rescued me.
Ginger
My mother used to sprinkle powdered ginger on hot milk for me when I had period cramps – some times mothers do know best! However the extra sugar that accompanies all this has to be watched.
In the days following however all the improvements disappeared and I seemed back to square one with the exception of the old coccyx pain being a lot more troublesome. Now I really am going to get a new work chair with Posturemax pressure sensitive foam; hang the expense I am worth it, especially with the annual tax return due in the next month. Maybe there will be some improvement with the old bum pain with the next pulse due in the new year. I intend to celebrate our second new year together well and we will be having beef (Aberdeen Angus) in ginger wine for New Year’s day. So sometime following, like the 2nd Jan 2008 looks like the start of the 5th pulse.
Oh, stop press – the joint soreness in my fingers seems to have gone away (mostly) and thanks for the tip that coffee helps with rls and peripheral neuro symptoms at night. (Sue Y.)
